Home again? Only temporarily

I don’t know how people travel constantly for business. If I did I’d be one big crankypants of a Sassymonkey (and let’s be honest, I’m a pretty significant crankypants on my best days). I feel like I’ve barely been at home lately even though I know that’s a huge exaggeration. I’m used to being out of town no more than once a season - sometimes less. This entire year feels like a whirlwind. Europe for two weeks. Then multiple trips to Ottawa. I just got back from a long weekend in Vermont. Thursday I’m heading back to Ottawa and coming back on Satuday.
And a week from Wednesday I’m moving to Ottawa.
Sassymonkey = one big huge stressball.
BUT at the cottage this weekend I got lots of reading done and I’ll be updating over the next few days. After all, I do need something I to distract procrastinate do when I finish packing.
The next time I say I’m going to move will someone smack me upside the head?

I totally agree with you, I refuse any job involving frequent travelling and when I do have to travel, I am a total wreck in the next days!
My husband travels constantly and I hate it as much as he does. I’ve been basically a single parent for 24 years, thanks to the travel.
As to moving . . . shoot, I’ll take your place. You take my house in yucky old Vicksburg, Mississippi and I’ll go up to nice, cool Ottawa. Ahhh. Okay, yeah, you’d still have to move. It was a nice thought.
I so feel your pain! I hadn’t moved in years and years and now i remember why - it’s awful! anyway, hang in there Sassymonkey!
